Leap Day!
Truly an Irishman, Tim Herlihy understands clearly that leap year day is an extra 24 hours to enjoy in an authentic Irish Pub. And American Bars applauds his efforts.
Tim has two of stops today
Erin Rose “in the quarter” of New Orleans
Erin Rose’s life began long before she became the lovable neighborhood bar she is today. The property at 811 Conti was originally a single family home built in the French Quarter over one hundred years ago and was converted into a bar by the mid 1950’s. Yes, a 60 year history as a bar.
By the early 1980’s, Mr. Jim Monaghan became the proprietor and placed the management of the bar in several hands before his right hand man became the absolute caretaker. When Mr. Monaghan departed this world in 2001, he left the business to his bar manager and business partner. In his honor, they renamed the place as Monaghan’s Erin Rose, and shortly after the "Irish Beauty" became known simply as Erin Rose.
A big friendly place in the Big Easy.
Tim will be there today.

The Copper Pint
Well, this is yet another handsome website that says absolutely nothing about itself. There are pictures of bottles and that is about it. I’m certain Tim will find it, even without photos.
This is the point of American Bars, who tracks Tim on this trek about the nation. There are so many great places to sit for a time, enjoy a drink and some food, and maybe meet up with friends. However, no one finds you or finds out about you, without some strong online marketing and presence. In short, most bars in the country real do need a boost, just to let people know they exist.
Contact American Bars and see the incredible website, mobile site and app. Then think of where you would fit into this new world of bars, pubs and lounges all across the country.
Tim will be attending this fine example of an Irish Pub later in the day.
