American Bars knows that we all love to make excuses. We often tell ourselves that the little wedge of lemon on the edge of our margarita glass is a full serving of fruit for the day or that celery stalk lounging in your glass somehow portends a full serving of vegetables.

Then are are those cases where you are thinking “I need a cocktail or two but my body won’t thank me for it”, well, a solution is coming.

Of course, our pet peeve here at American Bars is that the Europeans are always the ones finding the inventive answers to all this. And guess what…they did it again.

In London, cold pressed juice brand Press has partnered with five distilled spirit brands to launch a healthier cocktail menu. The menu offers “vitamin-packed” cocktails mixing the cold-pressed, raw and/or unpasteurized juice with a spirit.

Spirits paired with the juices include Casamigos Tequila, Belvedere Vodka, Sipsmith gin, Albion Racing Club spiced malt and Seedlip, the “world’s first” distilled non-alcoholic spirit.

“It is incredible having such established and acclaimed spirits brands on board to inject an alcoholic (or non-alcoholic in Seedlips’s case) kick into this new Press cocktail menu,” said Press founder, Ed Foy.

“I truly feel that the result both encapsulates and boosts Press’s guiding mantra of ‘Let us dream, let us never stop trying, let us laugh, let us make someone else’s day, let us live in the moment…. Let us live the juice life’.”

Now, here is the kicker: The cocktails can be found at Press’ latest juice bar located inside the London branch of Lululemon, an athletic apparel brand. Press’ on-site general manager, Fergus English, will serve up the cocktails.

Press now has some of the industry’s most “healthful” initiatives, demonstrating that alcohol and well being need not be unhappy bedfellows.

And when will this all come to a 24 hour Fitness site near you?

    Good Luck with that one….

    To Your Success…
