I don't know about you, but my routine before going to bed after a night of drinking, is to shove as much greasy food in my face and pound a shit load of water - so far, it has served me well. So, when I read this article from, Thrillist, that my remedy (and theory) couldn't possibly work, I was a bit skeptical. Apparently, "A new study presented at the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology conference in Amsterdam surveyed 826 Dutch students about their post-drinking habits, and, while those who ate food or drank water showed a slight improvement in how they felt, there was no real change in the severity of their hangovers." Ex-squeeze me? Baking powder? It sounded like you said my (almost) 20 year ritual doesn't make a difference? I am going to beg to differ on this one, "Euro College".
American Bars Enthusiasts, what do you think? Is your hangover remedy, ritual, routine the same as mine? Does it work for you as well as it works for me, or would you have to agree with the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology study? Let me know what you think.
