It may seem unusual to some of you that bars would be open on Christmas Day, but then again, it's L.A. 

Los Angeles is full of transplants. A lot of them young and starving "artists" that just don't have the money to make it home, so it's become custom for restaurants and bars to stay open on Christmas - you wouldn't want your son or daughter alone on Christmas if they couldn't make it home, would you?
