It's Not Selling Out, It's Tradition...

Craftbeer.com is one of my favorite online publications to resource and follow up on all things craft beer.

When I was on their site, I came across an article featuring 12 Christmas craft beers, which, I thought was really cool - and certainly appreciated it because I actually enjoy the holiday blends. However, they touched on an issue that is a bit taboo in the craft beer industry - selling out. I know a lot of people out there who do consider a small brewery who creates a special holiday beer blend to be selling out, but why? Personally, I really enjoy them and appreciate the time and effort... just as the article says, "...it's a tradition." Who doesn't like holiday traditions that taste this good...? Cheers.
