The Old Fashioned, Fashioned At Home
Published By admin on 9 years ago

We love The Old Fashioned here at, American Bars. In fact, it was our main drink for our soft opening. So, when we see an article about it, we have to share it!

If some of you are not aware, an Old Fashioned does not have to be "fashioned" only with whiskey. Some have been made up of Bourbon, flavored brandy, some have even been made with Tequila (that might be a little to off base for me, but I have heard it is actually quite tasty). The diversity is what makes making, and drinking this spirited beverage fun, and Eater agrees.

In this article, Eater gives us three different ways to make an Old Fashioned. I'm going to try the 'American Trilogy' - I've been curious to taste apple brandy for a while now. Let us know which recipe you try - or if you try all three, let us know which one was your favorite. Cheers!
