As the first day of October greets us, you may notice the ever so slight breeze you feel in the early mornings and late nights getting cooler. Yes, American Bar Enthusiasts, fall is here and soon winter will be joining us as well. I, for one, am ecstatic. Don't get me wrong, I love my sunny SoCal living, but, there is just something about fall/winter that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside... it's called, whiskey cocktails. Now, I drink my whiskey all year round, but there is something magical in drinking whiskey to stay warm while winter threatens a chill. Not to mention the appropriateness of the famous, Hot Toddy - such a beautifully flavored warm drink to savor in front of the fireplace.

Along with the Hot Toddy, there are several other whiskey cocktails to be enjoyed this fall and winter season. Esquire gives us 15 of the best, and we most certainly agree with this list. Stay warm this fall, my friends. Cheers.
