Wine Regions We Are Underestimating
Published By admin on 9 years ago

I think I have professed my love for wine to all of you once or twice before. I love going wine tasting and enjoy the tours. The smell, the barrels, the vineyards... the buzz...

Living in California, I frequented Napa Valley often, and other areas in the state known for their vineyards. Possibly I have grown partial and think we have some of the best vineyards in the States, but I am definitely always up for learning of other areas in California and across the country.

I am always on the look out for articles that send me into another direction and into a new vineyard. I found the following article and was pleasantly surprised. It listed some wine regions that I had not necessarily heard of, and I was definitely surprised with some of the areas outside California. Not because they were outside California, but because I would have thought it is just too cold or hot (depending on season), with little in between for these sensitive grapes to turn into the deliciousness called wine.

Take a look, let us know if you have been to any of the listed vineyards, or if you make a visit. Cheers.
