The second batch of the Tweeddale blend, made up of whiskies that are at least 12 years old, as opposed to the original 10 year old. A beautiful blend, made with 15 year old sherry butt-matured grain whisky, as well as single malts which are aged for between 12 and 21 years old.
Nose: green apple, raisins, vanilla with a hint of white chocolate.
Palate: complex gingery spice, layers of green fuit, then raisins and finally vanilla coming through.
Finish: smooth yet with lasting vanilla and spice.
